Sol Kids Day!

A day of cultural arts, crafts, and music for the whole family, Sol Kids Day provides different hands-on arts and health activities every second sunday like nature creation labs, healthy snack assembly stations, yoga for kids and everyone’s favorite, slime-making. Engaging performances for kids include hip hop theatre production, beat-making workshops, and guest appearances from some local unicorns and magicians. Sol Kids Day also hosts a gently used toy/clothing exchange every month as well! Join the Guerrilla Knitting Crew, Ms. Unicorn and the faculty of Unicorn University for this month's Kids Day! Sliding scale donations. No one ever turned away for lack of funds. Funded in part by the Cultural Arts Award Program of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission with support from the City and County of Sacramento.

Plugged open mic and open jam

PLUGGED is a one-of-a-kind live music collaboration. Half open mic and half jam session, PLUGGED invites musicians and lyricists of all kinds/genres to create the soundtrack for some of Sacramento’s favorite emcees, poets, singers, and dancers. Open to all musicians, singers, emcees, poets, and dancers of all styles. PLUGGED serves as a monthly showcase and networking opportunity in one of Sacramento’s cultural hubs, Sol Collective. Hosted by ZFG's Andru Defeye, PLUGGED is Sacramento’s place for musical cratives every second Sunday. $5. All ages. Brought to you by ZFG Promotions.
