Come join Professor Manuel Barajas in his four part lecture series regarding Migration, Nativism, Labor practices, and Borders among other subjects influencing Chicano culture in America. Every Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Sol Collective.
Sacramento Area Youth Speaks (S.A.Y.S.)
The first Friday of every month some of the brightest young minds and mouthpieces in Sacramento take over Sol Collective. Along with music by DJ Carreon, this event has become a hit with the youth of Sacramento. Event runs from 7-9:30 p.m. and is for all ages. $5 donation.
Bend Toward Justice

Fundraiser for Sacramento League of Urban Gardeners, Copwatch, and Sol Collective. Three of the organizations working to promote social justice in Oak Park and the greater Sacramento community. Sliding donation $5-$20 but none will be denied due to lack of funds. Come out and make a difference.
San Fran to Sac
Friday Sept. 17th
Join us as some of San Francisco's preeire artists head to sac to share the Sol Collective stage with Sac locals Defeye and Max Bundles. DJ Wanted will be spinning his DMC sets all the way from Tokyo, Japan. This will undoubtedly be another crazy night of hip hop brought to you by Sol Collective and the guys from Gurp City/Machete Vox. Admission is $5. Get here early. This show promises to pack.
Sol Collective is a community based arts education center in Sacramento, California. Our 3200 square foot space includes a gallery, music lab, media lab, and store. Sol Collective offers community members the richness of the arts and culture through workshops, exhibitions, and performances.
