ANAND PARMAR

Anand Parmar has been a professional audio engineer working in the film industry for the last decade. Mr. Parmar is a founding member of the Sol Collective and has supported the audio recording and editing of performances and documentary projects over the last decade. Mr. Parmar currently heads Sol Collective’s youth recording arts programming teaching students the ins and outs of audio/music production, beat making, mixing, and mastering. Working under the alias DJ El Indio, Mr. Parmar led the creation of Sol Life, Sol Collective’s independent music label, in 2016. Mr. Parmar has worked to curate and manage events with the #SchoolsNotPrisons, #FreeOurDreams, and #NoDAPL movements. From artist development to event coordination, Mr. Parmar is dedicated to documenting and amplifying the voice of the next generation.
